Quality

ELNG has established its Quality Department in 2006, few months after start of operations. Ever since, the Quality Department has worked on the establishment of a Quality Management System that complies with ISO 9001:2000, and successfully achieved the certification on July 2007. The certification was the result of hard work, dedication, and above all – team work and commitment of all company departments. After achieving the certification, Quality Department's main role now is to maintain and continually improve its QMS, utilizing many tools, like audits, benchmarking, lessons learnt, similar industries' best practices & recommendations.


ELNG was successfully recommended to continue with the ISO 9001:2000,  ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999 Certification on 26th March 2008. Also ELNG has successfully launched an Electronic Document Management System "EDMS" using Hummingbird software for electronic review, approval, control  and storage of documents.
Quality Department participate in a No. of projects “EDMS & Action Tracking System”, Quality Team always communicate the Quality activities with ELNG staff through Quality Bulletins, Intranet Quality page & announcements, and internal Quality training as required”.
QMS ‘certified’ Internal Auditor courses undertaken by 24 ELNG employees and 6 Contractor employees.
Quality department presented the 5S (Quality improvement tool) to the Cairo office with encouragement from top managements.
