The primary roles of the Integrity QA/QC Department in the Asset Integrity Division are:
Establish, implement and manage an effective and coherent integrity management strategy of the static equipment, piping systems and steel structures which will deliver sustainable assurance & improvements in plant reliability and availability to satisfy the overall business objectives employing the up to date Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methodology.
Implement proactive condition monitoring and inspection plans for the static equipment & piping systems in a cost effective manner in order to identify degradation mechanisms, minimize unexpected failures, and provide timely advice to Maintenance Dept. for necessary corrective actions.
Provide technical advice and quality control activities to ensure the integrity of the static equipment & piping systems upon maintenance, modifications and new fabrications in compliance with appropriate international technical codes and standards.
Conduct Fitness for Service assessment (FFS) to ensure that the static equipment is capable to fulfill their intended functions.
Establish quality control strategy for integrity and testing of the pressure relief valves.
Sustain the certification of the lifting equipment.
Liaise, within the Asset Integrity Division, for developing & maintaining Egyptian LNG QMS.
Organize necessary audits for the business process & records within the Asset Integrity Division to assurance compliance with Egyptian LNG QMS.
Carry out HSE inspections, audits training and safety instructions review within the Asset Integrity Division and its contractors to sustain Egyptian LNG targets for HSE.
Exercise control & update Egyptian LNG design, fabrication and operation documents.
