People in Egyptian LNG are recognized as company asset that is why we do invest on our people through a variety of tools such as: training courses, continued education for professional certificates, on job training, Internship programs …..etc. as Egyptian LNG is aiming to be recognized as  a “Learning Organization”.

 

 

Training Courses:

·         In-House Training:  for large group of employees, which enables us to control the course design elements and make the training more impact and effective.

·         Local Training:  the approach is to short-list relevant programs available outside the company on a local level and nominate the candidates for such program.

·         Overseas Training: for the need that cannot be addressed through a local (training) resource, the approach will be to target reputed overseas institutes and nominate the candidates for the appropriate program. 

 

Training figures and achievements through 2004 & 2005 in Egyptian LNG:

 

In year 2004/2005

  • 8090 man-day /inductional training for all the technical staff.
  • 40 man-day conducted for Six Sigma training.

 

In year 2005:

  • Over 6200 man-day training.
  • The first Egyptian HAZOP team leaders to be certified by the Institute of chemical engineering "IChem".
  • Prior to the plant handover, around 3000 man-day HSE awareness training in 8 weeks.
  • Safety leader ship training program.
